Dr. Irfan Khalid

Dr. Khalid is a pulmonary physician who is board certified in both pulmonary and internal medicine. He sees patients with respiratory and sleep problems.

He has achieved the level of Fellowship in the American College of Chest Physicians. A native of Pakistan, he completed his college education at Gordon College and medical school at Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He trained for three years in internal medicine at New York Medical College’s St. Vincent’s Hospital. His pulmonary specialty training was performed at the University of South Alabama. Before joining Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants he spent six years in the private practice of pulmonary medicine in Kentucky and Arizona.

Dr. Khalid has extensive experience with chronic obstructive lung disease including patient evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation. Other areas of interest include pulmonary hypertension and sleep apnea.
