Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants consist of three board certified physicians who practice respiratory and sleep medicine and together have over sixty years of experience in the field.

Patsy George, Office Manager
Mrs. George has been in the field of medical administration for over 20 years and has been guiding Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants for the past twelve years. She is responsible for our staff and the operation of our busy practice.

Barbara Sandoval, Billing Manager
Mrs. Sandoval has been in the field of medical billing for over 20 years and is very knowledgeable about insurance and billing issues.

Front Office Personnel
Bobbi Zamora and Patti Muenchow are our front office receptionists. Ms Zamora has been with Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants for five years and Ms. Muenchow for eleven years. They are responsible for communications with our patients regarding their appointments, scheduling procedures, and billing and payment issues.

Medical Assistants
Our staff in the back office has many responsibilities. They are the individuals who take you to see the physician, measure your vital signs, help the physicians with your prescriptions and make sure you have what is needed for your appointment. Among the various tasks they handle, they perform the spirometry tests, pulmonary function tests, oximetry tests, and chest x-rays when ordered. They also have specific areas of responsibilities as noted below.

Melinda Hertel, CMA
Mrs. Hertel has been working with Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants for the past 6 years and is a certified medical assistant (CMA). She is responsible for our sleep apnea equipment treatment program in addition to performing work as a medical assistant.

Joseph Schermick Jr., RRT
Mr. Schermick is a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) with 30 years of experience in the field of respiratory therapy, respiratory medical equipment, sleep therapy and pulmonary testing. He joined Arizona Lung and Sleep Consultants in 2006 and is responsible for the pulmonary and sleep testing performed by our office.

Justin Davis, PTR
Mr. Davis is a certified practical technologist in radiation (PTR). Having worked in a busy urgent care facility, he developed his skills as a radiology technician. He is responsible for the x-ray services we perform in the office as well as performing work as a medical assistant.
